About the laboratory

Welcome to the Laboratory for Wood Protection and Building Biology in Bühl near Baden-Baden.

My name is Ralf Möller. I have worked as a scientist in wood biology for over 20 years and have been active in the field of wood preservation and fungal biology for more than 15 years.

I specialize in fungi and insects found on construction timber. Correct identification of these organisms is always necessary for assessing the damage and planning remediation.
